Workshop Description:
SPRINTERCISE® – “Unleash Your Power” with our Variable Intensity Interval Training (VIIT), which is ideal for Group Ex and PT sessions.
Note: [VIIT is similar to HIIT, but includes a wider range of intensity levels and longer recovery periods.]
Coaches/trainers with access to outdoor spaces (track and field facilities / open spaces) or Indoor spaces such as Sports Halls.
Overview:
- This workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of VIIT (Variable Intensity Interval Training) with a focus on proper form and technique.
- Ideal for new coaches or advanced trainers.
What You'll Learn/Do:
- The structure/format of a typical SPRINTERCISE® workout, layout of sessions, content planning, sessions tools and tips,
- How to deliver a safe, fun and rewarding session.
- Will include a master class, session planning exercise, and demonstrations verbal and visual)
- A licence to deliver SPRINTERCISE® sessions
Who Should Attend:
- Ideal for sports coaches, PE teachers, personal trainers, group ex instructors
- All Genders, ages 16+, of any fitness levels.
- For coaches of all levels, regardless of experience.
What to Bring: Comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes, pen and writing paper, Water bottle and towel.
About the Instructor: Michael Monckton, a certified personal trainer with over 20 years of experience specialising in group fitness, will lead the workshop.
